... If I'm the Bottom, Baby -- You're the Topps. I recently received one of the most fabulous gifts EVER: a complete set of Topps Fright Flicks cards. Published in the mid-80's, the 90-card series boasts an assortment of movie nasties (Pumpkinhead, the Fly, Freddy, Predator, etc.) and -- even better -- some of the campiest captions I've ever seen outside of a Stuff magazine (if you don't get the reference, check one out...very strange...). Here's a sample of some of the sassy goodies (petrified plate of chewing gum not included). Enjoy! |
