| A
tried-and-true tradition of storytelling that was rendered declasse and
all but worthless by Murder, She Wrote (Angela, you bitch!),
the Whodunit took a bunch of creepy, duplicitous people,
trapped them in a room or on a boat, killed one of them, and let the others
at each other's throats until one of them figured out the culprit. Naturally,
this genre led to all sorts of fabulous Acting (with a capital A), some
very clever writing and star-studded ensemble casts the likes of which are
all but extinct these days. Now all we have is CSI and
Matlock (for the old people, of course), and our worn-out
copies of Clue... *sniff*... |
