For some reason horses just don't do well in Made-for-TV Movies. Whether because of backlash from the whole Black Beauty thing or Equus or what, if you introduce a horse into a movie it's pretty much guaranteed to freak out at some point, perhaps crush a fat girl, and then be killed.

My advice to equestrians: keep yer damn rides outta MOTWs! These wild hearts can be broken...
