CampBlood Homo Horror Features: So Readable They Hurt

Harm to Produce

Likely due to the restrictions imposed by the conservative broadcast television ratings board, there is a noticeable lack of blood and guts in made-for-television movies. Go figure. So, in a clever move akin to cutting to a shot of someone cutting steak after a knife attack (hello match-on-action 101), some MOTW filmmakers opt to openly abuse melons and large gourds in order to viscerally convey the trauma that is done to the human body when it is dropped, smashed, run over, and the like. I am shocked that there are not produce rights groups denouncing this wanton abuse of vine-ripened actors, but I have yet to see any sort of demonstration by People for the Ethical Treatment of Large Seed Pods against any of the below films. Pumpkins are people, too! If you’re a pumpkin, that is!

This pumpkin was cut down in his prime for your entertainment. Savages.
